Covid-19 pandemic: Canteen running without a cash-counter in Kochi

A vegetarian restaurant 'Capuchin Mess', serving breakfast, lunch and tea to its customers, is being run in a unique manner in Kerala's Kochi. Any hungry person passing by can step in to have a meal up to his satisfaction. The food served here is home-made and is very good in taste, quality and hygiene. The price list is displayed on a box kept outside, only to meet the norms set for restaurants, as it is a government-registered establishment. Whatever one can afford can be dropped into this box or just walk away and anyone wishing to do charity can also do so, it is most welcome as it will go towards feeding hungry people.
